At the request of you, your family, or your physician, one of our Medical Home Care Specialists Patient Care Coordinators will visit you (whether you are in a hospital, an acute care unit, a skilled nursing facility, or your own home.) During this evaluation, we will discuss your needs and assist you or your loved ones in meeting those needs under the supervision of your medical doctor.

Hospice is a philosophy of care. This philosophy recognizes death as the final stage of life and seeks to enable patients to continue an alert, pain-free life and to manage other symptoms so that the patient's last days may be spent with dignity and quality, surrounded by their loved ones. Hospice affirms life and does not hasten nor postpone death.
Hospice services are covered 100% by Medicare under the Hospice Medicare Benefit. In addition, hospice care is covered by most non-Medicare plans and the Sun Valley Hospice staff will work with these insurers to provide services.
